Consent

Every person has the right to be asked before any kind of touching or sex can happen. If someone wants to kiss you, they have to ask and you (the person being kissed) must give a clear “YES” before any kissing can happen. This means you have to be asked and give consent (saying “yes”). This means kissing, cuddling, making-out or touching their body in anyway.

How to ask for consent/permission in non-awkward way:

  • “Would this be okay?”
  • “How do you feel about this?”
  • “What are you comfortable with?”

Talking about sex isn’t always easy, we know that, and you can communicate in other ways through eye contact and body language.
