Being healthy isn’t just about having a healthy body; it means having a healthy mind as well. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and it’s totally okay to talk about it. People can have all kinds of emotions, depending on what is going on in their life, and how they feel about themselves. Just like illnesses can happen with our bodies, illness can also happen with the mind. Having a mental illness does not mean someone is weak, or crazy. It’s totally okay to talk to a nurse, doctor, teacher, mental health worker, social worker, or elder about how you feel.
