Weed comes from the Cannabis plant. Dying from a weed overdose is not common, but there are side effects. Some people feel panic and anxiety, they can have memory loss, and lung problems can happen. The chemical stuff “THC” in weed is what makes you high, and can vary from plant to plant. Being “high” lowers how alert you are. Being less alert during activities like driving a car or something else that really requires you to pay attention can be super dangerous. Remember how bad smoking tobacco is? Weed is no better, regardless of what anyone tries to tell you.

Yes it’s true, a doctor can prescribe weed. It can be given to people with serious illnesses like cancer by providing pain relief and help with eating meals when people have trouble keeping food down. Just because it may be prescribed for someone else, that doesn’t mean it’s safe for you to use.
